Privacy notice
This notice explains what Finaliser keeps about you, why, who helps us process it, and what you can ask of us. Finaliser is run by Samer Feghali, which is responsible for your data. Write to hello@finaliser.app with any question or request.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your name if Google shares it, and when you joined.
- Your presentations: what you upload or type (text, files, pictures, logos, colours, your conversation with the creative director) and everything made from it.
- Credits and payments: what you bought, when, the amount and the receipt link. Lemon Squeezy holds the card details; we never receive them.
- Running the service: what each presentation cost us to make, and short technical logs (time, address and error messages) kept to fix faults and stop abuse.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data. The app stores only a sign-in cookie and the sign-in session in your browser.
Why
To provide the service you asked for (making, keeping and sharing your presentations), to take payment, to prevent abuse, and to meet legal duties such as keeping payment records. We email you only about your account and payments.
Who helps us
These providers process data on our behalf, only to run Finaliser:
- Supabase — accounts, the database and file storage.
- Lemon Squeezy — sells the packs on our behalf as merchant of record: payments, sales tax and receipts. It receives your name, email, address for tax and card details directly from you.
- Anthropic — the language models that read your material, write and design the presentation. Your material is sent to them for that request.
- OpenAI — makes pictures when a slide needs one. It receives a written description of the picture, not your files.
- Replit — hosts the app.
- Google — sign-in with Google if you choose it, and the typefaces used in the app.
Some of these providers are in the United States or other countries. Where the law requires it, data is moved under the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses. Under their business terms, Anthropic and OpenAI do not train their models on data sent through their programming interfaces.
How long
Your presentations and uploads stay until you delete them or close your account. When you close your account we delete them within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, usually up to 10 years. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed to fix faults, normally no more than 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to send it to you in a usable format. Write to hello@finaliser.app; we answer within 30 days. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email.
